Appreciation post for the site super who caught a subcontractor trying to use a garden hose to fill a concrete test cylinder
Honestly, after seeing that happen on a job in Phoenix last summer, I now know why we have to be so specific about ASTM C31 procedures and proper curing tanks, so has anyone else had to stop something that wild on site?

Honestly, a garden hose? That's almost creative. I saw a guy once try to cure cylinders in a wheelbarrow full of rainwater he'd scooped from a puddle. The mud at the bottom was a nice touch. Makes you wonder what they're teaching some of these crews, right?
