Rant: my shop has two ways to handle pull lists and the regulars are split down the middle
Since January my shop in Sacramento has been pulling new releases for about 40 regulars, and we've got two ways to do it. Option A is bag and board everything the day it hits the shelf, option B is hold raw copies in the back and bag them when the person picks up. Half the folks say the raw hold keeps their books nicer, the other half swear the advance bagging is the only reason their stuff doesn't get bent. Which one do you think actually works better for a smaller shop?
