Drove 40 minutes to a shop in Fremont for a $5 comic, grabbed the trade instead, and now I get the hype
My local shop sold out of the single issue I wanted, so I had to pick between paying $22 online with shipping or driving to a place in Fremont that had one copy left for $5. I went with the drive, and when I got there the owner threw in the trade paperback for another $8, which I would not have picked up otherwise. Has anyone else ended up liking the collected version more than the singles they were chasing?
