Totally get the line worry, but man, those random nerd moments are the best! I'd go for the quick lore dive every time, those little connections make my day.

Ugh, absolutely true. I heard someone on a podcast say those weird little lore bits are like social glue, and it stuck with me. You're so right @emeryw40, it totally beats the usual boring chat about weather. It's like this cool secret handshake that just makes a normal conversation way better.
