Am I the only one who went from a blade grinder to a hand grinder and thought they bought the wrong thing?
Back when I started drinking coffee around 2015, I just whacked beans in a $15 blade grinder for a few seconds and called it good, never gave it a second thought. Fast forward to now, I picked up a Hario hand grinder at a shop in Boise for $35 and the first two weeks I swore the coffee tasted worse, all watery and weird, until I figured out my grind was way too coarse. Did anyone else think their upgrade tasted bad at first before you dialed it in?
