A barista in Portland told me to stop chasing fruity notes and it fixed my pour over
I was grinding way too fine trying to get blueberry out of a washed Ethiopian and it just tasted muddy. She said to go two clicks coarser than I thought and brew 15 seconds faster, and the cup got sweet and clean the first time. Does anyone else find they get better cups by pulling back instead of pushing harder?
