My first working login form took 6 days and I'm weirdly proud of it

I kept seeing tutorials where a fresh install of Node lags and 90% of the comments are people who already know what they're doing. Spent almost a week just on validation errors and session handling, but when that green 'Logged in' finally showed up in my localhost at 11pm last night, I literally cheered. Has anyone else felt like the gap between tutorial code and real working code is brutal at first?

Honestly, I see it the opposite way. Tutorials give you the clean path, but your six days of fighting errors is where the actual learning happens. That green login box means more than any copy-paste code ever will.
