A sweep in Albany told me to stop brushing top-down and work the flue in thirds
Guy named Reggie watched me work a two-story flue last month and said I was wasting strokes trying to reach the whole thing from the top. He splits the run into three sections and drops his brush on a marked rope so he knows where he is at each stage. Did it on a job in Troy yesterday and my arms were not shot by noon. Any of you mark your ropes with tape or do you just count the sections?
