Unpopular opinion: gas station breakfast tacos in San Antonio beat the fancy brunch spots
Three weeks ago my cousin dragged me to a brunch place near the Pearl that charged $14 for two tacos and I left still hungry. Then on a Tuesday morning I stopped at a gas station on Culebra for gas and grabbed a bacon and egg taco for $2.50 out of pure laziness. That thing had crispy bacon, fresh tortillas, and the green salsa was actually spicy, not that watered down stuff. I've been back four times since and every taco has been solid. Anybody got a gas station or taqueria under five bucks I should hit next?
