TIL the burrito spot on 5th is way better than the one on Main for under $10
Honestly, I've been going to El Pueblo on Main Street for years, getting their carne asada burrito for $8.50. But last week my buddy dragged me to Taqueria La Mexicana on 5th, and I tried their al pastor burrito for $7.99. The meat was way more seasoned and they actually put grilled onions in there, not just rice filler. Has anyone else switched spots after finding a better deal a few blocks over?

Does anyone else find themselves doing a mental cost-benefit analysis on burritos, like it's some kind of life decision? I switched over to Taqueria la Mexicana after my usual spot started skimping on the meat, and honestly my wallet and my stomach have been happier, but I still feel a little guilty about cheating on my old place. Your mileage may vary, but a well-seasoned al pastor with actual grilled stuff in it is hard to beat for under eight bucks.
