Shoutout to the $4.50 lunch counter inside the Broadway market in Buffalo
I walked past this tiny window inside the market for about 3 years thinking it was just a butcher counter with some sad sandwiches. Finally went in last Tuesday and got a huge bowl of beef on weck with horseradish for $4.50, cash only, no seats, you eat standing at a shelf nailed to the wall. The lady working there handed me extra jus without me asking and said the regulars always get seconds on it. I've been back 4 times in 2 weeks and tried the kielbasa plate for $6, which fed me and my kid. Now I'm mad I wasted all those lunches on $11 salads up the street. Anyone got other market counters in Buffalo or Rochester I should hit?
