Why does nobody tell you a $9 surge protector in Roswell would save your fridge
Lost my garage fridge and chest freezer in one storm last month in Roswell because I had both plugged straight into the wall outlet, then a buddy who does HVAC handed me a $9 surge strip and said "that is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy" and sure enough the next storm took out a tree two houses down while my freezer hummed right through it, so am I crazy for thinking this should be the first thing anyone with a garage setup buys?
