The barista in Asheville said my resume read like a job description, so I cut it from 2 pages to 1
I handed my resume to a friend who manages a coffee shop in Asheville and she said it read like a list of job duties instead of what I actually did. I trimmed it from 2 pages to 1 and swapped every task line for a real result, like the 3 weekends I saved by rebuilding our intake sheet. Still tweaking it, but what is the one line you always cut from a resume?

Taking out the "responsible for" opener on every bullet helped me way more than I expected.
