I thought my wife was nuts for sorting laundry by fabric weight, then I timed both ways for 6 weeks
She separates towels from t-shirts and I used to just dump everything in together, but after I tracked 6 weeks of loads in our garage in Toledo, her way came out to 41 minutes less total time because nothing got rewashed for pilling, so now I want to know what other small habits you all wrote off as silly until you actually measured them.
