Stretcher snapped mid-job in Tulsa, pivot saved the day

My power stretcher broke right in the middle of a 14x20 living room install last Tuesday. The head assembly just gave out, no warning. I had a manual knee kicker in the truck but that was pure misery on the seams. Borrowed another crew's pneumatic stretcher from a buddy two blocks away. Has anyone else had a tool fail at the worst moment and had to improvise like that?
