PSA: that seam I taped on a stair landing in Tacoma let go because I troweled the adhesive too thin
Was doing a 12 step runner job off 6th Ave and the seam on the top landing started popping loose 3 days later. Turns out I was spreading the seam adhesive way too thin trying to save time, like a credit card width is not enough on stairs where everyone pivots. Went back with a fresh tube, laid it heavier and weighted it down with my knee kicker overnight, and it has held up fine for 2 months. Any of you use a different glue for stair landings or do you just lay it on thick like I did?
