I finally walked off a stretch job in Tulsa when the pad had a 3 inch wrinkle
Two weeks ago I was doing a 40 yard stretch in Tulsa for a landlord who wanted it done in one day. I got about 12 feet in when I saw the pad had a 3 inch wrinkle running along the wall, and I knew if I stretched over it the carpet would ripple within a month. The guy told me to just kick it flat and move on, so I stopped, rolled my knee kicker back to the truck, and told him I would come back when the pad was laid right. He called my boss mad, but my boss backed me up and we redid the pad the next morning. Has anyone else had a landlord push them to skip pad fixes just to hit a deadline?
