My old camp light needed forever to charge, so I finally tried something new
I used to think slow-charging lights were fine since they were cheap. Last trip, I waited hours for mine to power up in the dark! That convinced me to invest in a faster option. Now, I always check charge times before buying. It saved me so much hassle on my latest outing.

My current light hits full charge in 45 minutes. @viola323 might joke, but real-world use beats slow charging every time.

Right, because everyone plans for their gear to die exactly when they're using it. Guess I should just schedule my darkness better.

Ever consider that fast charging ruins batteries faster? Slow ones might last way longer. Cheap lights save money for other gear. Just charge it before you go out. Waiting in the dark sounds like poor planning, not a gear problem.
