My $35 camp stove died on day 2 of a 4 day trip near Bend, and I'm done babying cheap gear
Two weeks ago I hauled my budget two burner stove out to Tumalo Falls for a four day trip and the regulator crapped out on the second morning, so I ate cold beans and a sad granola bar while my buddy's 15 year old Coleman just hummed along. Everyone in the reviews said this thing was "solid for the price" but nobody mentioned that the o-rings fail the second it gets below 40 degrees, which is exactly when you want hot coffee the most. Am I the only one who thinks a stove should list its cold weather limits before people trust it with their weekend?
