I noticed a bunch of folks in my area setting up ride shares for daily commutes. This really took off after last summer when fuel costs spiked. My coworker joined one and cut his monthly transport bill in half. It's turned into a way for people to connect while keeping cash in their pockets. Seeing this shift reminds me that smart budgeting can come from simple, shared efforts.
