Tried using public transit instead of rideshares in Barcelona last month

Thought I'd save maybe 20 euros over a week, but it ended up being closer to 80 after I figured out the routes. Anyone else find bus systems way more reliable than they expect in foreign cities?

My friend Linda had the exact same experience in Lisbon last spring. She was all set to rely on Uber for a week but decided to try the bus system after the first day. She ended up saving so much that she actually texted me a photo of her receipt from the transport card. The buses ran exactly on schedule and even had little screens showing the next stops in English. She said the only tricky part was figuring out which bus lines went where, but once she got the app downloaded it was smooth sailing.

Nah, Uber is worth it. Time is money, buses waste both.
