That $45 airport lounge pass is the worst deal in travel and I'm done pretending otherwise
Flying out of O'Hare last month, I paid $45 to sit in a lounge where the "free" food was cold pasta and the wifi was slower than the gate. Everyone swears by these passes, but a $12 sandwich and 20 minutes at an empty gate beat it every time, so what am I missing here?
