Night train versus overnight bus in Vietnam, what do you pick?
I had to choose between the sleeper bus from Hanoi to Da Nang and the SE train, both around $25 but the bus was 16 hours and the train 14. I took the bus because the reviews said it was smoother, but the AC froze me solid and I barely slept. Next time I'm paying the extra $8 for a soft sleeper berth on the train, has anyone else had better luck with one over the other?
