I finally kept a grocery receipt and hit a number that surprised me

Went to Aldi for my usual stuff and actually saved the receipt for once, came out to $42.87 for 6 dinners worth of food. That got me curious, so I added up what the same list would cost at my regular store and it was over $70, has anyone else done this comparison and felt like you were overpaying without knowing it?

Honestly once you see the gap you can't unsee it, makes me check every receipt now.
