Why does nobody talk about hitting 10,000 bricks laid by hand
I hit 10,000 bricks laid solo on a house in Boise last week and it caught me off guard. I do mostly small jobs so I never add it up, but this one was a big ranch home and the counter on my phone just kept going. It took me about 7 weeks working 5 days a week, and seeing that number made me realize how much I usually undercount my own work. My back hurts and my right wrist is toast, but I felt proud for once. My helper keeps telling me to get a mechanical lift for the next one. Does anyone here track their brick counts or is it just me? Curious what your weekly numbers look like on a big job.
