Damp course got bypassed by a simple planter box
I did a repair job last month where someone built a raised garden bed right up against the brick wall, and the soil sat above the damp proof course for maybe 4 years. Water wicked straight through and wrecked the plaster inside. I pulled the planter back and dug a gravel trench, but has anyone else seen this cause bigger structural issues down the road?
