My bone folder snapped clean in half pressing a 400 page text block
I was pressing the spine of a 400 page text block last Tuesday and my bone folder snapped right in the middle, which I did not even know was possible. Turns out I was pressing way too hard against the grain and the thing had a hairline crack I never noticed, so now I am out 18 bucks and a little embarrassed. Does anyone keep a spare folder within arm's reach, or do you just learn to feel when you are pushing too far?
