Spent 3 weeks on a 40 page book for my club because I kept getting two characters mixed up
I volunteered to lead the discussion on a book with two guys named Henry and Harold and I had to reread the whole thing twice with a notebook just to keep them straight, has anyone else had a book wreck a whole month like that?
Three weeks for one book sounds less like the book's fault and more like you made it harder than it had to be. Two names that start with the same letter is annoying, sure, but a quick sticky note on the cover with "Henry = the brother, Harold = the boss" would've saved you the notebook and the second read. How is that the book wrecking your month when you're the one who turned it into homework?
