DAE think reading the book club pick on a Kindle totally changes the discussion?

Our group read 'Project Hail Mary' last month, and the three people who used the ebook's X-Ray feature kept bringing up character backstory details the rest of us paperback readers completely missed. Anyone else notice a tech gap causing real debate problems?

Ever feel like you're reading a different book? Those extra features create an unfair info advantage. It kinda breaks the whole shared experience thing.

Remember how the X-Ray thing spoiled that twist about Rocky's past? Makes me wonder if we should ban supplemental features for club picks. Do you think the author even intends for those notes to be part of the main read?
