Just found out hydrostatic testing is way more fun than I expected
I was reading through an old weld procedure manual from the shop in Tulsa that closed back in 2019 and it had a whole section on hydrostatic testing, which I never really looked into before. Turns out filling a 40-foot drum with water and watching the pressure gauge climb to 150 psi is actually kind of satisfying, especially when you hear that little leak hiss and have to chase it down. Anyone else ever get stuck on a hydro test that took forever because of one tiny fitting that kept weeping?
