Told my kid I was 'too smart' for the credits scene, he called me out, and he was right
My son is 14 and we started a show together back in March, one episode a night after dinner. About two weeks in he noticed I kept hitting skip on the last 90 seconds of every episode because I figured it was just music and names. He told me straight up, 'Dad, the good part is always in there.' So I stopped skipping and sure enough, that show had a 20 second scene at the end of episode 6 that explained the whole cold open from episode 4. I had missed it completely and would have stayed confused for another 3 episodes. Now I sit through the credits and he gets a kick out of watching me squirm. How many of you actually watch past the credits or do you bail the second the screen goes black?
