Shoutout to the era when binge-watching was an event, not just background noise.

Totally feel this, Keithallen. Felix nailed it about losing that shared event feeling. My friends and I started picking ONE show a season to BINGE together on a set weekend, like a dumb little watch party. It forces us to actually focus and talk about it instead of just letting everything blur into background noise. That old magic was all about everyone being on the same page, and you have to fight for it now.

That point about napping through premieres really hits home! Do you think it's the loss of weekly releases that killed the communal aspect, or is it just content fatigue? I remember when a new season drop felt like a holiday, and we'd all sync up to watch together. Now, there's so much out there that it feels overwhelming, and nothing gets the same focus. The magic of binge-watching as an event is totally gone because we're never all on the same page. It's like we traded quality engagement for endless quantity.
