My smart TV remote died 2 episodes into a 6 season show and the fix was in the couch the whole time
Last Saturday I was 2 episodes into a 6 season show on my smart TV and the remote just stopped working. I tried new batteries, I tried pairing it again, nothing. I sat there for 40 minutes mad because I did not want to get up and use the buttons on the back of the TV for 50 more episodes. Then I flipped the couch cushion and found the tiny USB dongle for the remote had popped out and was wedged in the crease. Plugged it back in and it worked right away. Now I plug that thing into a short extension cable so it cannot get knocked loose again. Has anyone else had a remote just quit like that and turned out to be something stupid simple?
