I quit my $52k job in Columbus after my own kid said something at the dinner table
I worked nights at a warehouse for 6 years and told myself it was fine because the money was steady. My daughter asked me at dinner why I never come to her school stuff and I said I was tired, and she just said okay and went back to eating. That okay broke me. I put in my notice 9 days later with nothing lined up, which everyone told me was dumb. Has anyone else walked away from steady money because of one small comment?
