Hot take: ask for the 3 month rent total before you sign anything at a big complex
Apartment hunting in Denver after my breakup, I almost signed at a place that quoted me $1,450 a month. Then my cousin said to make them print the full 3 month total with fees, and it came out to $4,810 because of a "community tech package" I never asked for. Has anyone else gotten hit with add on fees like that after you already toured?
