The old timer at my shop told me to stop greasing freehub pawls, and he was right
I'd been packing them with Park Tool grease for 3 seasons until he showed me a pawl that stuck solid at 15 degrees. Switched to a light oil and haven't had a single engagement issue since. Anyone else had a hub come back because of too much grease?
