My plumber laughed at the pool noodle on my pipes until he saw the water bill
I wrapped the noisy copper pipes under my sink with a $2 pool noodle cut down the side after a neighbor in Boise suggested it, and the hammering noise stopped within a day, so now I'm wondering what other dumb sounding fixes people are sitting on.
