Hot take: I went with the $9 plastic pipe cutter over the $40 copper one and it cost me a whole Saturday
I figured I would save a few bucks on a simple job and the cheap cutter crushed the pipe instead of slicing it, so I spent my whole Saturday morning on a ladder in the garage fixing a leak I made worse. Ended up driving to the hardware store in Plymouth for the real one anyway. Anyone got a tool where the cheap version actually held up, or is that just a myth?
