Hit 15,000 haircuts yesterday, but the number that got me was my first 50

I've been behind the chair for 9 years now, and yesterday I hit 15,000 cuts. But what really hit me was thinking back to my first 50 when I was just starting out at a shop in Dayton. Back then I was lucky if I got one walk-in a day, and I kept messing up the same fade line over and over. That 50th cut was a kid named Marcus who came back two weeks later asking for me specifically, and I almost cried in the stall. Now I do 40 heads a week easy, but I still get that same kick when a regular sits down. Anyone else have a random milestone that meant more than the big round numbers? What was yours? It's funny how the early struggles stick with you more than the success later.
