Neighbors letting dogs run loose in my yard need to stop.

It's not okay for pets to dig up my garden without asking. I've had flowers ruined twice this month, and no one says sorry. People should watch their pets better.

The part about ruined flowers really hits home. My buddy had his whole row of tulips smashed by a loose labrador last spring. The owner just shrugged and said "dogs will be dogs" without even offering to replace the bulbs. It made him put up a fence.

Honestly, what gets me is how it kills the vibe of sharing a street. Like, now your buddy has a fence up, and that labrador owner probably wonders why nobody chats anymore. It turns a nice block into just houses with barriers. My cousin's neighborhood had a similar thing with roses, and now they have a whole group chat just to complain about pets. Once that trust is gone, it's hard to get back, you know?

Ever wonder if the real problem is that people just don't see a garden as real work? Like they think flowers are just decorations that pop up, not something you put time and money into. That "dogs will be dogs" attitude feels like they're saying your effort doesn't matter. Do you think they'd act the same if it was a broken window or a scratched car?
