The old logging road behind my house might connect to the state park trails.

I live in a rural area with an old logging road behind my house. It might connect to the state park backpacking network. Has anyone mapped this out? I'm concerned about private land and trail conditions.

What happened when my friend tried to map a back road like that? He went onto private land by mistake and had a tough time with the owner.

Tbh, why worry about mapping when you can just walk it?

Mapped my neighborhood last summer, just two blocks. Found three extra alley shortcuts my phone never showed. Actually got calls from lost delivery drivers who used my notes. Walking is great but a basic map can save others real headache.
