That $340 'premium' spray gun I bought was a total lemon

Picked up a fancy DV (the one everyone raves about) and it started fisheye-ing clear coat on the third job, cost me a full redo on a customer's 2017 Civic in Tulsa. Anyone else had a pricey gun that just couldn't lay down a consistent pattern, or am I the only one stuck babying this thing?

Your pressure might be set too high for that clear. Fisheye usually means something on the surface is messing with it, not necessarily the gun being junk. Run a test panel with silicone cleaner wiped down first and see if it still acts up.
