Body shop in Tulsa quoted me $2,100 for a rear quarter, said blending was included, then the invoice had blend time on it anyway | Auto Body Repairers - Opinions Matter
Blending being "included" and blend time showing up on the invoice are two different things, so I get why you're ticked. But here's the part that trips people up: blend time is a real line item in most shop software, so it'll print on the invoice even when the shop already ate it in the quoted price. What matters is whether that blend line adds up to more than the $2,100 you agreed on at the end. If the total still came out to $2,100, the line is just the shop showing their work and you didn't actually pay extra for it. If the total crept past the quote, then yeah, they slid the blend charge in after telling you it was covered and you should push back on that.
