TIL that replacing my 22 year old water heater was worth it, even at $1,850
Last month our water heater finally gave out and I had to pick between a cheap $700 tank swap or a $1,850 tankless unit. I went tankless after a plumber in Marietta explained the gas line upgrade was most of the cost, and now my morning shower actually stays hot for more than 8 minutes. Has anyone else here made that switch and did your gas bill really drop like they promised?
