Can we talk about how flippers keep gutting bungalows and slapping in cheap vinyl flooring?
Walked through three open houses in East Atlanta last weekend and every single one had the same gray LVP over original hardwood, why are we covering up the one thing that actually gives these houses value?

Start by thinking about what happens to those hardwood floors once the flippers slap that vinyl over them. They don't just cover them up, they often ruin them by using glue-down LVP that damages the wood underneath or they skip proper prep and trap moisture, causing mold and rot. So in a year or two, the buyer pulls up the vinyl hoping to restore the original floors and finds them wrecked, with no fix other than tearing them out completely. It's like they're actively destroying the value they're pretending to add.

Kept the original floors and used removable vinyl, zero regrets.
