My tripod leg gave out during a 3am shoot in Tucson
The cheap locking clamp snapped on my second session with the new mount, so I duct taped a wrench to the leg and held the rig steady for the rest of the Milky Way shots, but has anyone else lost a full night of data to a hardware failure like that?
