Found a dumb trick to stop my bathroom mirror from fogging up

I live in Seattle and my tiny bathroom mirror would fog up for 20 minutes after every shower. Tried the shaving cream thing, didn't work for me. Then I started wiping it down with a dry bar of soap before I shower, no water just straight soap. Has anyone else found a random hack that actually sticks around?

Seems like a lot of work just to see yourself in the morning. Next you'll be waxing the shower door with old car polish.
