DAE think those $5 scratch-off tickets from the gas station are a total scam? My buddy won $500 last Tuesday and now I'm eating my words
I always rolled my eyes when my friend Dave stopped at the Shell on Route 9 to grab a scratch ticket, I figured it was just a tax on people who are bad at math. Then last Tuesday he scratched one in his truck and hit $500, just like that, and he showed me the ticket and the cash a day later. I still think the odds are awful but I can't argue with what I saw with my own eyes. Has anyone else had a skeptic moment like this where something you thought was fake turned out to be real?
