My fiberglass cast choice nearly ruined a dig site last month
I had to decide between using quick-setting plaster or fiberglass wrap to preserve a fragile bone fragment out near St. Augustine, and I picked the plaster because it was cheaper. It heated up too fast and cracked the specimen in half. Has anyone else lost a find rushing a field preservation call?
