I quit wasting 20 minutes per dryer by checking the vent hood first after a call in Mesa taught me the real issue
Spent 45 minutes pulling apart a dryer in Mesa last Tuesday for a no-heat call when the whole problem was a crushed 4 inch duct behind the unit choking airflow, so now I stick my phone camera back there before I even touch the cabinet and it has saved me at least 6 tear-downs this month.

Learned this same lesson with my truck, where I spent way too long chasing a battery drain before finally checking the easy stuff first (loose ground wire, of course). Most problems in life turn out to be the simple thing you skipped over because you assumed it had to be harder. Check the cheap stuff before you tear anything apart.
